Getting there
Vikin - the Maritime Museum in Reykjavik is located in a former fish-freezing plant on the westernmost part of the old harbor in midtown.
The view from the Museum pier over the harbor is excellent. Weather permitting, guests can sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. The Bryggjan Café offers a selection of Icelandic refreshments and light meals.
The Museum has a wide range of exciting exhibitions for the whole family.
Public bus no. 14 stops next to the Maritime Museum. The Museum is wheelchair accessible. There is ample parking nearby.
