Confrence rooms

The Maritime Museum has four different confrence rooms/hall available for rental.  Full coffee and tea service available.  Please contact Sigrun on 5179400 or at sol@sjominjasafn.is for further details.

1. Betri stofan is a hall about  230 square meters with fantastic views over the harbour. Price up to 4 hours: ISK 70.000 + catering.

2. Verbúðin is a 100 sq. meter room on the ground floor of the museum, ideal for meetings and lectures.  Projector and a flipchar easel.  Seats 60-80 people. Price: ISK 25.000 for half a day, up to 4 hours and ISK 50.000 for a whole day.

3. Hornsílið, is a 80 sq. meter room on the first floor of the museum, perfect for meetings, lectures or film viewings.  Projector, flipchart easel and internet.  Seats up to 80 people. Price: ISK 25.000 for half a day, up to 4 hours and ISK 50.000 for a whole day.

4. Hjálmarsstofa is suitable for smaller meetings, up to 12 people.  Projector and internet.  Price: ISK 20.000 for half a day (4hours) and ISK 40.000 for a whole day.
